CERT, an abbreviation for Computer Emergency Response Team, is a security team which provides ultimate solution in crisis events in shortest possible time or attends working groups to provide effective and acceptable solutions to minimize damages that are caused by the crisis.

However, in recent years with the spread of security threats, CERT was charged for responsibilities and procedures related to prevention of accidents and security crisis, therefore CERT can be synonym with Computer Emergency Readiness Team.
